At Touch of Kare, we provide in-home care services to individuals across ages and needs. Whether you or a loved one is facing a disability or chronic condition, recovering from illness or surgery, or is expecting to become a mother, we are here to support you. Our services are designed to improve your quality of life and promote independence. Our specialized care services include:
Disability Care
We offer personal assistance and care to help clients living with a disability complete daily tasks and live comfortably at home. Our services include meal preparation, transportation, housekeeping, and hygiene and personal care support. We aim to help them live safely in their own home and to boost their confidence in their capabilities.
Cancer Care
A cancer diagnosis, treatment, recovery, or relapse can be overwhelming. That’s why we’re dedicated to supporting clients who are in this situation every step of the way. Our goal is to help ease the weight that is brought by cancer and provide the resources and care that they need to face and overcome this process.
Memory Care
People with memory conditions must stay active and socially engaged, which is why we care for them by providing engaging and stimulating activities. We utilize the best tools and resources and offer solutions that fit our client’s personal needs. Our goal is to make their daily life a comfortable experience amid struggling with memory problems.
Parkinson’s Care
A progressive illness like Parkinson’s requires continuous collaboration between care providers, medical professionals, and family members. Our in-home Parkinson’s care services range from moderate personal assistance to full-time care, and we coordinate with our clients and their healthcare team to deliver care and treatment that suits their unique needs. Our services include meal planning, transportation, and medication reminders, among others.
End-Of-Life Care
We can partner with our client’s hospice program to provide additional in-home care. This way, family members can stay by a client’s side and remain present throughout the period, without having to worry about several matters. Our team can help ease the difficulty of the end-of-life stage for our client and their family members. Our services include personal assistance, overnight care, and 24/7 care.
Stroke Rehabilitation
A stroke can alter both the survivor’s and their families’ lives. To address the physical, emotional, and behavioral changes, our service is designed to help them cope with the sudden changes of daily life post-stroke. We also educate and assist them in making long-term care decisions to maximize their options. Our care plans can be tailored to fit every client’s unique needs.
Neuromuscular Care
Individuals who have had muscular dystrophy and neuromuscular disease often end up having unique, changing care needs. With a complimentary in-home assessment, we can define the most appropriate type of care for them and keep them comfortable at home. We will assess and listen to their specific needs and work with their family and care team at every step to develop a personalized care plan.
Post-Op Care
Recovering from surgery can be challenging, both physically and emotionally. To make the transition from the hospital to their home easier, our trained caregivers can assist with essential tasks. Our staff can help with light housekeeping, meal preparation, transportation, and medication reminders, so you can focus on regaining your health.
Diabetes Care
Diabetes is a complex disease that requires a dedicated care team. When you choose us, you work with a team who ensures that we develop a comprehensive diabetes care plan that meets your unique needs. Our services include meal preparation and planning, medication reminders, and encouragement to maintain an active lifestyle and peace of mind.
New or Expectant Mom’s Care
Our caregivers understand the challenges that new mothers face. From healing their body and restoring their health and energy to adapting to the changes brought by maternity, they will require a support system. Our trained caregivers can provide the support and assistance new mothers need to make this transition to motherhood easier. Whether you need help with daily chores, meal preparation, or laundry, we are here.
Workers Comp
Workers who are recovering after sustaining injuries on the job aim for a speedy recovery to return to their daily routine as soon as possible. Thus, sometimes, they require caregivers at home to help them ease their lives. Our caregiving team provides support to workers with light housekeeping, meal preparation, transportation to medical appointments, and personal care to help facilitate a complication-free recovery. We work closely with workers’ compensation providers to ensure that our services align with the individual’s recovery plan.
